Just some notes on McGee facts from Season 5


5.01 Bury Your Dead.

• "But since my parents raised a gentleman and yours raised a killer..."
  
• Sleeves rolled up is SUCH a good look. Not too fussy on the hair but naked forearm...hmmmm.
  
• Can memorise a ten digit phone number for a search
  
• First time the director calls him 'Tim' (just after that realise it's not Tony)
  
• McGee brings Ziva coffee
  
• Note McGee didn't nick any of Tony's things.

• hair blowing in the wind scene.
  

5.02 Family

• Ziva quizzes McGee on if he lost his virginity
  
• Tony puts superglue on McGee's keyboard - Gibbs has nail polish remover
  
• McGee can't belived the director didn't give HIM the Jeanne assignment - Ziva knows why
  
• McGee knows about home auomation - lawn sprinklers are on the remote control. Later, Tony keeps getting wet by the lawn sprinkler and McGee says it's part of the security system. Yeah right. At the end, at least he turns on the fire for Tony to get warm.
  
• McGee asks what is was like to pretend to be someone else (you should know, Elf Lord) but sems really interested that Tony was actually in love.
  

Oh and the first Sarah for the season - the wife.

5.03 - Ex Files

• McGee gets jelous of Fred
  
• We get the 'gunfight at the Caf-Pow Coral'
  
• McGee says 'sweet' when Abby wipes Fred out
  
• McGee knows the element song
  
• First time McGee initates physical contact with Abby since the almos hug of Kill Ari - when he is getting her to block Fred
  
• When McGee was in the sixth grade, he made a complete periodic table out of licorice and junior(?) mints
  
• Tries to get Gibbs to assign him to work more closesly with Abby then changes his mind
  
• McGee claims to down six or seven caf-Pows a day
  

5.04 - Identity Crisis

• McGee looking for a puppy
  
• Says he wanted someone to lie on his COUCH and watch TV (and lick his face). He has a couch?

5.05 - Leap of faith

• McGee drives the truck! First time I think.
  
• McGee has a new found fear of heights which did not manefest itself in Once a Hero last season when he leaned over that balcony. Shudder.
  
• McGee has a new iphone and new watch (speaker phone in watch).
  
• McGee doesn't play poker with Abby. Implies he actually plays poker with someone though.
  
• McGee went to a therapist once, when he was young
  
• McGee and Tony 'couple' scene.
  
• McGee wearing lace up sneakers of some kind
  
• McGee interviews Fleming - anyone else amused the guy's name is Fleming as in Ian Fleming James Bond writer. They had to get another writer to interview him.
  
• Does McGee hit Tony on the BUTT to push him out of the elevator?
  
• McGee saves Tony hanging over the edge of a carpark and Tony expresses his love. Slash writers work late into the night.
• McGee's new iphone appeared in Leap of Faith

5.06 - Chimera

• Abby threatens McGee with pointy spikes on her arms band - not just for show
  
• McGee doesn't get motion sick on helicopters
  
• Still gets motion sick on boats - that second throw was HARD, I wonder how many takes before he didn't get hit in the face.
  
• McGee throwin up in the head - recovers well. Ziva and Tony taking bets on how long it would take.
  
• Dizzy spell in kitchen while phtographing vomit. Tony actually nice to McGee steadies him and does an 'easy Probie' and an 'easy Probie stomach. You can even see Tony still holding McGee (strocking him?) when Ziva calls about the footprints.
  
• McGee also falls in the dark later on
  
• Calms Tony when he's sure he is dying: 'until you're actually dead..."
  
• Makes fun of Tony's fear of rats.
  
• Uses the word 'peachy'. This is a US term?
  

5.07 - Requiem

• Can find woman on MySpace but can't remember he saw her photo there and needs abby phone shot of her instead
  
• Still does the thing where he concentrates on one thing so much he blocks out the rest of the world - what if Abby were suffocating again?
  

5.08 - Designated Target

• McGee comes in wearing sunglasses
  
• How does Tony know what McGee looks like when he's had sex?
  
• McGee has a new 'girlfriend' who ends up using his credit card to buy stuff then gives all the money back. It turns him on (he says, "I kind of dig it")
  
• She tried to buy him a sofa (where would it go? Does he have one for the dog?)
  
• McGee uses the iphone to DL the taxi vid. Gets a mention in the "most ridiculous made up uses of an iphone"
  
• McGee's ring tone is some strange R and B thing.
  
• According to the subtitles, McGee's pet name for psycho girlfriend is Brumby. That's a wild horse in Australia.
  
• McGee's lips still narrate everything he does while he's typing.
  
• It's 365 steps from Abby's lab to McGee's desk
  
• McGee has good credit: FICA score's 750. Ok I dn't know what it means either but I'm an Aussie.
  
• McGee consults Abby for advice
  
• Abby, "I love you McGee, that should be enough". No coment! This is where you say, "I love you too" at at least, "I'm doing it with Ziva".
  

5.09 Lost and Found

• McGee is a scout leader for the youth rangers, fictious in the US but they exists in the UK. Not sure if the UK ones have a snazzy pink belt!
  
• McGee takes kids out for pizza
  
• McAbby in the lab. He knows her pet peeves, finishes off her sentences, she does impersonations of him. It's like they've been married for ten years.
  
• Later in the corridor they start getting down and dirty with technobabble until Gibbs cuts them off. You can see McGee's excited.
  
• McGee uses his iphone for navigation. You can do this on an iphone, I checked. It has GPS. BUT if you look at the top of the screen the GPS is reporting the last position when it was actually turned on: 28343 Aven(ue), Valencia, CA(LIFORNIA). Hey aren't you supposed to be way over the other side of the country? It also says "No Service" as in "I'm not on".
  

5.10 Corporal Punishment

• McGee reads Marvel Comic Iron Fist, number 14: the first appearance of Sabre tooth.
  
• Refuses to test Tony's six pack
  
• Escaped mental patient...exactly what I'm thinking...
  
• McGee complains that Tony has to do the Tommy Lee Jones talk everytime there's a fugative
  
• McGee moves too early and crazy guy goes psycho. No idea how his shoulder is supposed to have been dislocated. Ever seen someone just after they dislocated their shoulder? I have. Twice. Grown men writhing about in agony with tears in their eyes. Not here. McGee takes it like a man. Or perhaps he tripped in the hall. And why hopital? There is a gym full of occupational thearpists at his beck and call. Well, it's our first true McWumping, we'll take what we can get. What a surprise: it's his right shoulder, just like every fanfic...
  
• Abby is all over him when he returns, attached like a conjoined twin. He doesn't seem to take to it too well. Compare to that scene in Reveille. Sigh.
  
• McGee drinks diet coke, the same drink that Kate took out of his fridge in Red Cell. Ziva opens it with a pen, unlike Red Rell.
  
• Tony and McGee gang up to tease Ziva - "Red Sonya".
  

5.11 Tribes

• Tony calls him McGoo - he wasn't even wearing glasses.
• Tony calls him Probie Pan
• McGee comes in with a huge coffee mug - he bought 6 for $10 at pottery barn - 50% off. Even at 6 for $20, that's a good deal. Tony accuses him of beng Seuss-ical.
• McGee and Ziva argue about who will go into the Masoqu to plant the bug. McGee offers to flip Ziva for it, she points out he will get hurt if she flips him. An oldie but a goodie - used to be a flavoured milk commercial here - oh and in the cave men era.

5.12 Stakeout

• McGee scrambles Tony's eggs - they get into a fight on stakeout
• McGee bothers to set up an intricate model for Gibbs rather than saying 'have you even watched Bait?'. We do get a nice McAbby scene out of it. Gibbs takes to the lego radar thief.
• Tony calls him McFreaky
• Goldilocks the hooker takes an interest
• Big contrast between the Tony/McGee in this stakout to the one in Dead Man Walking in season 1.
• McGee calls Tony Racoon Boy

5.13 Dog Tags

• McGee gets attacked by a drugged out German Shepard trying to serve a warrent. Shoots Dog - but not fatally. Abby mad at him for most of the episode but 'gives' him the dog (Jethro) at the end. McGee mostly just accepts the abuse as 'Abby'.
• Tony bets McGee will throw up when he sees the victim
• The last time McGee had a tetnus shot was when he and Dicky Newsome were fighting over the Galactic Hunt Obi-Wan Kenobi.
• Abby uses McGees Hugo Boss jacket on the dog. When will McGee learn to stop taking his nice clothes to work? She never destryos the old tranch coat he's had since season 1.
• Tony tries to McGee flirts with Petty Officer Erica Perelli the dog handler. Potential love interest - you know where this is leading.
• Tony calls McGee Probie-Wan Kenobi - not the first time.
• McGee must have moved into a bigger place - how can he fit a dog like that into THAT apartment.

5.14 Internal Affairs

• McGee doing a very messy backup of data. Tony pretends to throw coffee on it and they almost end up in an embrace - more slash writing.
• McGee interogated by Fornell - reflects on his 'professional' relationship with Tony. Flashbacks (McGeek... McGo.. McGiggle...McGoogle...)
• McGee has to get Gibbs' ancient computer and printer to work
• First time we see McGee at Gibbs' house. He has now seen the boat and basement.
• Ziva shows how she can paralyse McGee and kill him if she wants.

5.15 In the Zone

• Starts with McGee and Ziva looking over McGee's new wallpapaer (computer screen that is) of Jethro the dog licking McGee. Who took the photo?
• McGee wants to volunteer for the Baghdad assignment but Tony talks him out of actually volunteering. Then Director Vance is disappointed that he is the only one who didn't volunteer.
• McGee talks to Abby about wanting to go to prove himself. He complains that everyone else has been. Abby doesn't want him to get killed over there
• McGee takes Tony's Kill Bill mug off his desk and Tony knows

5.16 Recoil

• Tony calls McGee McTardy
• McGee concerned about Ziva

5.17 About Face

• McGee and Ziva play scrabble and McGee loses to Xi
• McGee still afraid of heights, Tony tells him he has to get over it - "You don't just get over
  irrational fears, Tony. They're irrational."
• Jimmy calls Tim "McGee"
• McGee doesn't share with Jimmy about his 'first time'
• McGee and Abby hypnotise Jimmy - twice. Find out about the shoe fetish.

5.18/.19 Judgment Day - still working on it

• Quips about his hair - haircut McGee? McGee: No. Ducky: I believe it was a suggestion not an observation.
• Abby sets up broom Tony and mop Ziva for her and Tim to play with.
• McGee and Acting Director Vance speak Geek together:
