1. Bury Your Dead	Jimmy and Ducky figure out the body is not Tony, just before Tony arrives AND Trent Kort comes to tell them anyway. DUCKY: In the meantime:the lungs. Penetrative shrapnel damage,middle and lower left lobes. Otherwise healthy tissue,non-smoker,minimal scarring. JIMMY: Minimal scarring. DUKCY: Minimal scarring. JIMMY: I got that,doctor. DUCKY: Yes,but Mr.Palmer,how could he? JIMMY: How could he what,sir? DUCKY: Have minimal scarring in both lungs? JIMMY: Healthy living. DUCKY: Yesenio pestis.Y-pestis. JIMMY: The pneumonic plague? DUCKY: Yes,the plague, Mr.Palmer. This man has never had the plague. He's never had the plague. JIMMY: So he has never had the plague. DUCKY: He never had the damn plague! Ducky throws the glove and Jimmy catches it - got a "HOWZAT!" from us. (BD plays baseball). When they thought Tony was dead, Jimmy took his American pie coffee mug.
4. Identity Crisis	Jimmy tells a group of students that the human brain: "Feels like a soggy grapefruit." Jimmy tasked with continually redialing the ME who classifed the body as a John Doe. Gives up DUCKY: Therein lies the problem.
5. Leap of Faith	Jimmy staring at Abby because he heard about her job offer. She catches him. ABBY: Why is everyone staring at me today? JIMMY: I wasn't staring. ABBY GLARE JIMMY: I wasn't staring. ABBY LEAVES DUCKY: You were staring, Mr.Palmer.
9. Lost and Found	Ducky giving Palmer some lessons on psychological analysis - and study notes: DUCKY: Mr. Palmer, when conducting a psychological analysis, the first thing you have to do is establish patterns. JIMMY: Because patterns are the most efficient gateway into the mind. DUCKY: You read your study material. I'm impressed. Jimmy babysits Carson, Abby notes "Turns out...he's a pretty good babysitter." Playing pictionary but Jimmy keeps using his hands. Jimmy draws a school, Carson guesses the Playboy Mansion. Jimmy asks if he knows Tony.
11. Tribes	Ducky tests Jimmy forensic knowledge DUCKY: Your first impressions, Mr. Palmer? JIMMY: Well, there should be much more blood loss evident. DUKCY: Based upon? JIMMY: Based on the position of the body, even with the heart slightly elevated. DUCKY: Precisely even with a gunshot that high in the thoracic cavity, one would expect more - blood loss. Ducky tests Palmer's abilty to draw blood from the femoral artery, then compliments him and confides his confidence to Gibbs. DUCKY: Just a moment, Jethro. Is the needle in his femoral artery, Mr. Palmer? JIMMY: Yes, Doctor. DUCKY: Good. .. DUCKY: Neatly done, Mr. Palmer. JIMMY: Thank you, Doctor. (JIMMY LEAVES - DUCKY CONFIDES TO GIBBS) DUCKY: That young man will make a first class medical examiner one of these days. Jimmy the religious philioshper - belives in total equality: DUCKY: Something wrong, Mr. Palmer? JIMMY: If this weren't a Muslim family, we wouldn't be here. DUCKY: That is correct. I don't think anyone should get special treatment. We're risking our careers by doing this. DUCKY: You can always leave. JIMMY: Doctor, I wasn't with you in Bosnia. DUCKY: True. JIMMY: And I certainly wasn't on the Crusades. But 9/11. The Intifada. Hamas. DUCKY: You have a problem with Muslims, Mr. Palmer? JIMMY: No. No, I do not. But it seems like they have a problem with us. DUCKY: Religions have been the basis of conflict for generations. JIMMY: So we just live with this? DUCKY: Until we learn to respect one another.
12. Stake Out	Palmer returns in a suit and tie looking for his cell to find Ducky looking at a secret case. Notices the doctor is keeping something from him - especially when he locks the drawer. They go through the requisition forms: JIMMY: They don't prepare you for all this in medical school. Gibbs treats Jimmy humanely to get him out of the room: GIBBS: Hey, Palmer. Abby's looking for you. JIMMY: I just left her. (Gibbs gives him 'the look') JIMMY: I will go see her again.
13. Dog Tags	Jimmy spent "two summers as a veterinary assistant during college." Exhibits a sound knowledges of animals and Ducky respects that. DUCKY: You know, Mr. Palmer, a number of these puncture wounds are exceedingly sharp. JIMMY: Certain breeds, especially shepherds, can have needle-sharp teeth capable of inflicting severe puncture wounds. Ducky leaves it to Jimmy, the "Resident dog expert" to explain to McGee why he doesn't have rabies. DUCKY: Yes, well, I will yield the floor to young Palmer here, and allow our resident dog expert to explain to you why you do not have rabies. Ducky and Jimmy work as a team to operate on Jethro the dog.

17. About Face	The Jimmy Episode! Offers to help Ducky up the stairs but Ducky assures him his cardio is fine. Bad puns continue: DUCKY: He's an early riser. PALMER: Early demiser. DUCKY:Oh, please, Mr. Palmer. When looking for Jimmy, Dukcy calls him Mr Palmer but when he is worried about him, he calls him Jimmy DUCKY: Mr. Palmer? PALMER: Stop! (shots) DUCKY:Jimmy?Jimmy? Jimmy! Are you all right? Tony calls him Mini-Mallard Ducky asks Gibbs about how Mr Palmer is: DUCKY: How is Mr. Palmer? I really miss his assistance. You never fully appreciate someone until they're not here. GIBBS: He'll be all right. DUCKY: Jimmy may not have had a good look at the shooter, but I fear the shooter may have had a good look at him. GIBBS: Duck. You let me worry about the shooter. Abby has some pet names: ABBY: You're a stud muffin. You' an iron fist with a velvet glove. You're Baby Gibbs. Jimmy has done some seriou wilderness stuff: JIMMY: You know, I took a wilderness survival course. Spent two weeks alone. I even encountered a bear. Abby hypnotizes him twice and we find out a) he has a shoe fetish or more specifically: a boot fetish, b) he gets two shots of expresso every morning from a guy who looks like a thug and c) JIMMY: I didn't mention anything about the sleep out at Camp Winnamonka, did I? Gibbs is actually nice to Palmer - defends his claim of a passport and talks to him while he is emailing his mother. Jimmy's email email address is J.Palmer@ncis.navy.mil His mother's name is Eunice and her email addrss is EuniceP@global.net The P suggests her name is also Palmer - so not divorced or remarried. No evidence of father yet again. Also implies he doesn't live with her. Ziva is to Palmer as Kate was to McGee - I'm thinking of the opening sequence of The Bone Yard. Gibbs is mad at Palmer for following them to the trailer park and then for crashing into the bad guy but then: GIBBS: Now you got something to write home about, Palmer. Jimmy's car was identified as a Honda Prelude by the car expert on cars in NCIS on the NCIS wiki.
